Why Your Puppy Misses The Pad

I foster with a local animal rescue. My specialty is pregnant moms and large litters of puppies. When you have over 4+ puppies, the poop and pee situation becomes unbearable. I started hating the disposable potty pads because urine can soak through and because I was throwing away mounds of them every time someone peed on them (I don't know how people let a dog poop or pee on them multiple times before throwing away, gross). It was costly and bad for the environment. The puppies also chewed them to bits.And so I found these. We have over 50 of them so we always have clean ones and extras. We go through all 50 almost daily. They are freaking awesome. They don't slip. They soak up and absorb urine like a champ. I have washed them hundreds of times with no issues and 0 leaks. As soon as they are used, I put them in the wash with a gentle detergent and tons of vinegar and the smell comes right out. We use them on the ground where the puppies normally go potty. We use them over the beds when they are too young to leave the bed. We use them to cover the rugs if we want to let the puppies roam and still keep our rugs safe. We use them on the couches if we want to watch TV but want to have the puppies with us. They are perfect and keep my furniture and house from smelling like dog and poop and pee. I recommend these to everyone. If you have a pet, you should just have some on hand just in case. Sooo much better than anything else I have found.

I don't think there's a downside with these. I ordered a total of 6 45X35 pads for our malinois mix. She's only 5 months old now, but we live on the 3rd story of an apartment building and we're still training for eventually outside potty, but winter is here and that's going to be curbed by snow and cold. So, I figured I'd try these pads out since our mal started destroying the disposable pads about a month ago.She's already to the point of holding her pee all night, so where these come in handy is when she prompts us that she's gotta go. We let her out of the bedroom and she's now, 90% of the time, making it to a pad to do her business. We feed her on a raw diet, so the pee tends to be higher in nitrates and ammonia, and anyone that knows that smell, you don't want that in your carpets or even any kind of wood flooring (even the plywood under the carpet, typically). These pads have been able to handle her volume of urine, and the poop stains come right out in the wash.I'm planning to order more and in different sizes, now that we know how well they're working for our growing mal-mix.Definitely worth the price.Quality seems to be pretty good consider how much this dog chews.The rubber backing helps keep the pads in place on the carpet.Having various sizing helps.Nice color scheme's for those that try to keep colors the same in the home.Will add some pics a couple months down the road to see if the quality keeps up with this chewer.

I ordered 3 different reusable pee pads and hated each one of them. Yes this one is more expensive but it’s so worth it! The others wouldn’t hold the urine smell and would seep through no matter how many videos they showed it being dry! I would also wash them and the lining would loosen . I found myself needed to wash those pads everyday. Until this one! OMG I love it! It held the urine smell and did not seep through. I left it for 2 days and there was zero smell or seep through. I was annoyed at the price compared to others but I see why the quality is much better than the others. Now I’m hoping it stays the same after multiple washes. But I’m super happy as of now! Thank you!!

These puppy pads are awesome. I have referred my family and friends about them. If you’re looking for a good puppy pad, this will pay for themselves within the first month about four to start off with. I’ve never had to need another one, but I only have one dog so I guess you have to write on how many dogs you have How big they are. I have a Chihuahua and they’re perfect and even when that offer for any see any anytime soon they were out I will be purchasing from this seller great experience and thank you so much.

Perfect! I bought these a month ago after my husband had a melanoma removed from lower back and was having some issue with bandage staying in place. They were the same price as 10 disposable pads so it seemed like a wise purchase. We are also having some incontinence issue due to other health issues. These pads have been exactly what we needed. High absorbing and wash wonderful! They were a bit stiff at first but after a couple washings they are nice and soft, without effecting their absorbance. Would definitely

I have three Peekapoos that stay inside, so finding reliable washable pads is a must in our home. I laid two of these pads down for three full days on top of a pee tray and a silicone pad — no leaks at all! Even after that long, it still felt lightweight and didn’t have any bad odors. (Pretty impressive for three dogs using it!)I’m washing them today in cold water, and I did spray Shout on one that had a poop stain. I also purchased a second 6-pack because so far I’m very happy with how these work.I’ll update my review after a few washes to see how the absorbency holds up over time. We have an aging Doberman with some medical issues. Recently he has not been able to hold it all night and we have been waking up to a huge amount of liquid in his crate. (Door off, but he prefers sleeping there) Sometimes he barks to go out, sometimes he doesn't.Anyway, I was using almost a roll of paper towels to clean up each accident. The time it would take to absorb everything, then clean everything was frustrating. In the middle of the night I ordered these, I didn't think he would keep a diaper or a belly band on.Today I got up and let him out early, came in to check and the pad was quite full. The top did not feel wet, maybe a little cold. I pulled it out and it did not leak. Although I was careful, just in case. I was able to clean the tiny bit that was left in there (a sprinkle) with 2 paper towels, then disinfect and rinse.This is a huge improvement, he can sleep comfortably where he wants and isn't in a puddle. I placed the second one over the carpet where he normally takes a nap as well.I have washed both, used cold water, and in the dryer on cool. No noticeable shrinkage or damage. Looking at other reviews I think I will air dry to help them last longer.These were well worth the money. Not only for his comfort, but my sanity as well.I highly recommend these to anyone who needs a good crate pad, I folded the sides underneath and it still absorbed everything and he hasn't tried to chew it at all. It would be good for puppies and incontinent older pups as well. They come in different sizes, I bought larger than I needed so I could cover more carpet.The grooming glove was a nice bonus, he very much enjoyed all the attention and seemed to really like the way it felt.

I purchased a 2 pack of these reusable puppy pads because my 3 dogs are inside dogs mainly. I go through a ton of the disposal puppy pads and really hated the thought of how wasteful that is! Also I was having issues with my dogs sometimes missing the pads and when they peed off the pads it will run under it making a much bigger mess! 2 of my dogs are still puppies, they are extremely playful so sometimes they would run and crumple the disposable pads also leading to them tearing it up… this has been the solution to almost all my problems! The pads are very absorbent, it does not leak out the bottom. At first when your dog pees you will see the wet spot as time goes by it will become faint and some disappear all together you won’t see it on the opposite end! It hold in a lot of odor, because I do not notice a fowl smell after they use it a few times. My first go at it I placed the disposable pads on top to entice my dogs to use it. Did not take them long to start using it. That first trial run I left it for 4 days! I smelt a small hint of urine and poop so I just knew it was time. I first took it out to wash it down with a hose and vinegar. Then I placed it in my washer with detergent washed and dried it afterwards in my dryer on low heat ( it dried very quickly ) the pads were like fresh out the package! Put it back down for my doggies to use! My only ‘disappointment’ is the reusable pads do slide around. It’s not slip proof as described, there are tiny rubber bumps under but it doesn’t have the best hold. I do not mind it does not bother me very much but just keep that in mind. I hope my review somehow helps a few of you make a decision if you are on the fence about purchasing these “reusable puppy pads” I was a sceptic also but I really wanted to find something more environmentally friendly and cost effective this is so much more than that! I think many will love it so give it a try! 👍

I live in an apartment with a large husky mix and a small Maltese mix. They use these pads in the bathroom. I feel like I should have two sets out, one per dog, and maybe I will get around to that but for now I stack these four up and remove the top layer to reveal a fresh one beneath. I just fold the top one in half length-wise, roll it, then stick it in a bucket so they can use the one beneath. Once they're all soiled (we go through 2-3 each day) I put down a disposable one while these wash. I put them through the rinse cycle with detergent, then wash them with detergent and a little bleach. They wash well, and hold so much pee! With disposables, once the big boy used it, it needed to be replaced...we went through about 5 daily. I have gone to bed forgetting to remove the top one, or let half the day pass forgetting to move the top one when I got up, and even with tons of urine in it this baby does not leak through! But then I have urine dog prints to clean up walking away from the pads. Oops! If someone pees at the edge, it'll go on the floor but it is minor. These are as expensive as my big pack of disposables, so I'll buy one set each month to stock up. And stack up, lol. Just removing the top one is so simple. I used to stack the disposables like that, which was so convenient, but my cats use these now as well (even though they're next to the litterbox! Weirdo kitties) so they scratch up the whole pile of disposables. These cloth ones stay put almost always despite the cat scratching.

These are the best pads! We had a whelping box that needed 4 pads, I purchased 6 so I could clean and replace. They are durable and soak up the urine from 12 Mastiff puppies. No smelling, leak resistant, soft, and great value for your money!

I love how big the product is (purchased the largest), stops unnecessary rubbish for landfill, looks good, easy to wash - forget puppy pads, this is what you need! I bought two, so one is in the wash while another is being used

This is fantastic! Although I don't encourage a puppy to use a pee pad, at least she does! It is sooo nice to be able to pick it up and throw it in the washer on sanitary cycle and it comes out like brand new. I wish I would've purchased one a little bit bigger for her play pen but the one for her kennel is perfect. ) I highly recommend

These are great for puppy training or for potty training for growing dogs. Help me to save so much money cause I can just throw it in the washer and dry them. I only use paper pads that's needed now. They as they are really well staying in a place. My dogs tear them up like they do the paper. I'm really proud with my purchase.

I bought these for puppy training a new puppy. They stay in place well, but do slide around some. They are highly absorbent. I have also placed them under the puppy's water dish because she splashes a lot - great here too. They absorb a lot, and when hung out dry quickly in the sun. Downside- they are not leakproof and do leak through the backside. Word of caution they need to be replaced frequently to prevent leak through or moisture damage to the floor below.

We have purchased multiple of these over the years and they are far superior than any other brand. They wash and dry well and never separate like a lot of other brands. I just came back to purchase a few more and realized I’ve never left a review. 10/10, however I do wish there were more colors to choose from! Please add some solid neutral colors without the paws.

These are great! My puppy is using them consistently. I'd say buy 2 packs of the 2 packs for rotation and washing. 100% worth the savings on throw away peel pads.

The pads are great. Worked as advertised. When 10 lbs puppy got the zommies they stayed in place. That being said I followed the washing instructions. Washed on cold delicate with some vinegar. Dried 1/2 on delicate then air dried from there. They look great.

I purchased these pads because my Maine Coon kitten loves to splash water everywhere from her water bowl and that doesn't mix well with hardwood floors. These pads are amazing and work so well, I was very surprised at the amount of water they hold with NO leakage!! Of course, she had water all over the pad and it was definitely wet on the top, but completely DRY underneath. I bought the 3-pack, so all I did was remove the pad, put down a fresh one and tossed the other one in the dryer and 15 minutes later....voila! I decided to try another pad for under her litter box and to my surprise, it works great, even better than what I was originally using!! Highly recommend these pads. My situation is probably unique in that I wasn't looking for a pee pad, but it's the same principal - keep the floor dry underneath whether it's pee or water!! Great purchase and so happy!!

We recently adopted 2 Australian shepherd puppies. I know, what were we thinking. They were not potty trained. I tried the disposable potty pads but when unattended they shredded them to pieces. I bought a plastic tray to house them in and they chewed it with ease and then shredded the potty pad. I also bought the reusable smaller mats and tried them by themselves and with the plastic tray. Same thing. Chewed it all to pieces. The inner layers were all over the pen we had them in. This blanket is doing the trick. They are now potty trained so they only use it when penned for hubby and me to go to work. They do however love to chew on this too. But I've slipped 3 of the edges under the pen. So only 1 side is exposed. It's easy to wash and does not hold onto the urine smell. Dries pretty quickly. It does soak up quite a bit of liquid too. My male puppy can pee a river, 😂 they are now 7 months old. I recommend this product highly. I bought a 2 pack and I drape 1 over the bed to save the comforter from over washing. I love this blanket.

I have had dogs all my life. It’s been 10 years since I had a puppy. Yesterday we added a puppy to our now 3 dog family. A boxer breeder refered these puppy pads to me. Before I used the messy disposable ones and never had any luck with them. Last night after we got home and was setting down I put the pad down, without any coaching my new 8 week old boxer went to the pad and peed. This morning she peed and pooped on the pad. I’m 100% impressedThis morning she had diarrhea and the pad even contained that.
